Overview
Project Moon is a dark fantasy adventure RPG, set in a medieval world plagued by a mysterious lunar curse that twists men into beasts. You play as a lone ranger, haunted by a dark past, bound to a secret order, tasked with uncovering the origin of the curse and purging it from the realm, before it consumes everything.

Inspiration
Project Moon was born from my passion for story driven games like The Witcher 3, God of War, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption II, etc. I wanted to create a world where quests have lasting narrative consequences, and where every encounter, whether a fight, a choice, or a line of dialogue, feels meaningful. I drew inspiration from dark fantasy gothic horror, folklore, and the duality of man vs. beast.

Design Goals
Quest Design: Branching narrative paths that reward exploration and decision making.

Combat System: Weighty, reactive melee combat with dodge, parry, and timing mechanics.

Worldbuilding: A lore rich setting with ancient crypts, cursed bloodlines, secret orders, and mysteries to uncover.

Development Notes
This is a solo project built entirely in Unreal Engine 5 using blueprints. I’ve created and implemented custom blueprints for core mechanics like enemy behavior, dodge/parry mechanics, interactive NPCs, and quest tracking. I designed the levels and wrote original lore, and dialogue to immerse players in the world.

I’m currently prototyping major quest lines, enemy encounters, and building vertical slices of the world, including a village under threat, a haunted crypt, and moonlit forests patrolled by a cursed beast.
